Born in 1973, Rachel always had a keen interest in painting and studied privately to develop her style. During the years, Rachel has found her footing in the art space and stands out with her unique style of painting. Rachel applies loose, broad brushstrokes and overlapping layers of oil paint to transform the flat surface of the canvas into a bold, three dimensional interpretation of her subjects. In 2009, Rachel held her first solo exhibition ‘Alive in Colour’ at the Banca Giuratale in Victoria, Gozo.

Rachel established herself in a prolific way, working from her studio at home. Her paintings are inspired by nature and they are filled with colour, light and movement. She has showcased her work in numerous exhibitions and a considerable number of her art works found their way in private collections in Malta and abroad.
